Today is the day! In less than 24 hours I will begin my study abroad program in Warsaw, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic. I am so excited for this amazing opportunity to travel and learn in a different part of the world. Although my program is only two weeks long, I know I will grow a lot during this time. I chose this program because it allows me to travel and study abroad, while also giving me the time to complete an internship during the summer. Getting ready for the trip has been a little hectic because I have only been home from school for a week, and have not had a ton of time to prepare. This past week has been full of running to the store, writing and rewriting lists, and excessive googling of what and what not to bring. As a notorious over-packer, I tried my best to fit everything I needed for two weeks into a normal sized suitcase that I will be able to easily travel with. Right now, I am feeling mostly excited, but am also a little nervous. Until now, my only trips outside the United States have been to Mexico and the Caribbean, so I am very nervous about navigating European airports on my own, especially since I do not speak a word of German, Polish or Czech. I think this program will provide me with a lot of great opportunities to explore the culture in different countries, and learn a lot about European history, especially the World Wars. I am so excited to begin this trip, and cannot wait to share the rest of my experience with everyone!

Warsaw Old Town: The historic centre of Warsaw, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a lively place full of galleries, cafés and restaurants. It is located only 15 minutes from Hilton Warsaw.
