I can’t believe my trip starts so soon! I’ve been planning this trip for so long and it’s finally here. Over the past few months, I have been slowly buying things that I will need for my trip to Greece and France this summer. Most of the things are specific to traveling like a new suitcase and carry-on bag; however, I have also bought a lot of clothes too. I’ve heard from friends that in Europe, girls typically wear dresses in the summer. They said it’s not common to wear athletic clothes or T-shirts like we typically do at Alabama, so wearing this would make you stand out as an American. I thought this was really interesting because I never knew that! I am keeping lists to make sure I don’t forget to pack anything I may need, but I feel like I may forget something. When I’ve gone on vacations in the past, I always feel like I have to make spontaneous purchases at the moment to buy certain things I need. This can be fun sometimes so I am excited to figure this out as I go along once I’m actually in Europe! It’s really important to have friends or someone you can rely on to ask questions and compare packing lists. I am so grateful for the friends I have going with me and the people I know that have traveled abroad before that can give me tips.
