To prepare to go to Italy I was researching Italian clothing style and their culture to find the do’s and don’ts. I was researching the areas I would be in the most or that I would be going to and also the weather in Italy. My packing so far has been mostly the basic things like clothes, plenty of hair products, shower essentials, and a few shoes. I did not bring towels, washcloths, bedsheets, or things like that since they will be provided. If you are anything like me, you do not like being away from home very long, even though it is only 2 hours away. So I practiced staying away longer than I was used to. The hardest thing for me about leaving was about missing out on my cousin and best friend’s graduation and both of their birthdays and my sister’s birthday. Packing for this trip has also been hard, even though I had researched as much as I could. Knowing how much to bring and how much space to leave in your suitcase was what made it hard, no matter how crazy that seems. But overall, I am so excited to see a whole new place. While I’m there I hope to meet local and Italian citizens, and get to know more about and experience their culture. I want to see the Colosseum and the Pantheon. Most importantly, I want to see the streets and the architecture of their attractions but also of their houses and regular buildings, because it seems so different from ours. The picture below is two of the tops I bought from TJ Maxx for the trip.
