Croatia was a new and exciting city for me. Within our class group, our teachers and many group activities planned. When a day came where we had a time to go on ur own, a group of us decided to go out a take a boat tour around the coast. During that ride we were able to snorkel and go into caves. We also got taken to an island near where we were staying and explore. On that island, there were many restaurants, churches, and secret hidden gardens. After our exploration of the island, the boat driver offered to take a cinematic video of us on the boat and that certainly was an interesting idea. One of the people on the boat with me has a fear of sharks and was scared one would the near. The driver made sure to tell us that a shark hasn’t been spotted in nearly over 50 years. But later during our cave diving, the same friend starting freaking out and had us all worried. We rushed over to see what the problem was and turns out a little baby fish wouldn’t stop following them. Other than that, the day consisted of a nice and relaxing ride where we got to enjoy a day off learning and get to know our way around the city. The driver told us many facts about Croatia and that he loves most about it. One of my favorite memories from the boat day was when we were stopped for cave diving my friend and I climbed a cliff and decided to go cliff jumping. It definitely was a scary jump but made the whole day more exhilarating. When the day came to an end, we got dropped back off and decided to find a nice restaurant but he water to try. I remember getting fresh muscles and shrimp that night and it being the best I’ve ever had.
