OMG!!!!!!! Croatia seriously was the prettiest, cleanest place I’ve ever been to. We had class pretty much everyday from 9 to 11 or 12 and got the rest of the day to ourselves to explore! We discovered this super cool cave bar that was built into an actual cave and it overlooked the water with its own swimming section in the ocean which was amazing. We also got to go on a boat and explore a cave underwater with some of the most crystal clear waters I have ever seen. We also got to explore this huge wall that had so much history built into it but was also filled with shops and restaurants and it was insane how massive it was and how beautifully designed. This was all in Dubrovnik. And then we get to Zagreb which was way more of a city vibe. We got to explore the city and learn about the culture on a walking tour. We also got to explore many cool food spots and shops, I think we spent 5 hours in Zara lol. We were lucky enough to get to work with a professor from the University of Zagreb as well as visit the National Bank of Croatia and it was super interesting to hear about their economy versus the US and some core differences. Our last stop in Croatia was Opatija which again was just insanely beautiful. It was more of a small beach town but it was very relaxing. All in all Croatia was the most relaxing, beautiful, and my favorite part of the trip!
