Studying abroad has honestly been one of the best experiences of my life. It is hard to tell everything in one post. While being here I have traveled to Trento, Venice, Rome, and Naples in Italy, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Munich, Germany, and Innsbruck, Austria. Before coming, I was sure that Munich would be my favorite, but after going to each place, Ljubljana and Rome were definitely my favorites. While we only got to spend 2 days in these cities, we were able to fit so much in! While in Rome, we visited the Colosseum, St. Peters Basilica, Palatine Hill, the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Roman Forum, and we also visited the restaurant where alfredo was first made! In Ljubljana, we hiked up to the castle which was really awesome.

In the countries we have visited they have spoken a number of different languages. I personally cannot speak anything other than English, but everyone has been very easy to talk to and so welcoming to us. Since a majority of our trip was spent in Italy, we have learned a few basic words, and the locals really like when you try to say them!

I have had an amazing time on our month-long journey, but the trip is coming to a close at the end of this week. I am so grateful for the opportunities and experiences we have had on this trip; I truly cannot put it into words. In each country we went to, I decided my “souvenir” would be a tote bag that has something significant from each city and country we went to. I also got a postcard from each country. I am very sad to be leaving in the next few days, but I am grateful for the time that I did have here, and I hope to visit again soon!!
