I made it home a couple days ago and have been doing absolutely nothing. The day, or I guess days, of travelling were long and exhausting. After finishing class in Croatia, we headed to Venice for our first city in Italy. We stopped in Piran, Slovenia on the way and it was such a cute place. There was a Porsche show going on with a bunch of different vendors set up in the middle of the city. Venice was beautiful. We rode a gondola, did lots of shopping, and toured St Marks Basilica. We ate pizza, had wine, and enjoyed some gelato and cannolis during our stay. Next was Verona and Milan. Milan was a city I was excited for, but did not expect it to be one of my favorites like it ended up being. Although we really just shopped and explored and toured the Duomo, the city was so beautiful and I really just fell in love with it. We took a day trip to the Swiss Alps and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. It was a lot of sitting down which I was thankful to have by this point in the trip. The train ride through the Alps was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. We then moved to Pisa and Florence before making it to our final destination, Rome. In Rome we tried to see everything the best we could and spend as much together as a group before all going our separate ways. I am so thankful for the people I met on this trip it truly is because of them that this Study Abroad was everything it was. While the last few days of this trip were exhausting and I was starting to get homesick, I already wish I was back. The people and the places were so fun and I am so grateful I was able to go on this trip. I will genuinely think of these experiences every single day for probably the rest of my life.
