Hey y'all, it's your favorite University of Nebrija student, Jacob. I am writing this during my last week of class in Spain (how sad, I know!). I wanted to keep you guys updated on what I have been up to these past couple weeks.
As part of the study abroad program, my summer session did a weekend excursion every weekend for the 4 weeks I have been apart of. This past weekend, my fellow UA students and I went to a small city near Madrid called Toledo. It was beautiful (as always with each excursion) and I really enjoyed how we had some free time to explore the city on our own. Toledo is famous for its thousand year old aqueduct that was previously used to transport water to the city. Looking back, I must have been in awe of the beauty because I forgot to take a photo of it (oops).
However, attached here is a photo of the view from a hill overlooking the city. Our bus driver stopped there first, so it was a great introduction to the city. Look how beautiful the houses and buildings look with the river running right through it. Toledo was a beautiful city and I would recommend it to anyone traveling through Spain.
Next week, I will be traveling to Barcelona, and with the end of class, I will have some free time to travel in Europe.
