After being back home for a week now, I have had a chance to truly reflect and think back on my trip abroad. This program has given me an opportunity that I never really expected to have. Throughout this trip, I visited 5 different countries, experienced different cultures, enjoyed new food, and met new people. I am extremely grateful to have been able to go on this trip in the first place and am thankful that it was such a smooth experience. My professor, Junsoo Lee, really puts in the extra effort and listens to the feedback from the students in order to make the program what it is now.
This trip has further proved how much I love to travel and has reaffirmed that traveling will be a major part of my life. It is so cool to be able to see the things that we have talked about in history class or experience certain aspects of a different culture that are unique and special. It is very eye-opening to see those different cultures and see how people all over the globe live.
The people and the places have impacted me more on this trip than I was expecting, and if I could I would do this a thousand times over. I know that it can be a little nerve-racking to go across the globe with a group of strangers, but I am so glad I did. My biggest piece of advice is to just go for it! {and to pack lightly! :)}
