Now that I am back on campus, I keep looking back at all the memories I share with my new friends. I remember how every day was a new adventure and every moment with friends is a time to be treasured. My time in Ireland re-awoke my love for learning and appetite for adventure. The James Joyce class broadened my mind to a different, more in depth type of literature. While this was exciting and fun, it helped me realize that my true passion is in the sciences. My class on Gaelic Literature and Culture made me question the solidity of history while also teaching me about the history of the land I called home for a month. My study abroad trip to Ireland allowed me time away from my family and my home to truly discover who I am and what I want out of my education and my future. I will forever cherish the memories I made there and I am eternally grateful to be fortunate enough to have this opportunity.
