Greeeeeeeeece! What an experience. The beauty of the Greek Isles is stunning…the mountains, the landscape, the beaches, everything is simply breath-taking. Not to mention the lovely people. They are all so welcoming and friendly! We stayed on the island Corfu, a quaint village down the mountain that was just the quiet get away we needed. The hustle and bustle of London is exciting, but every now and then everyone needs some beach therapy. Since it was the off season (thank goodness) we stayed at the lovely Pink Palace hostel. I would not recommend this hostel for the on-season unless you are down to stay for a while and get a little too crazy. BUT, if you’re up for a low-key beautiful weekend I highly recommend the Pink Palace for this time of year. Between cliff diving, kayaking the isle, and ATV’ing over 50 miles throughout the island, I don’t think I could of asked for a better trip. There were about ten guests (Canadians, Australians, and Brits.) We had a blast and too many memories to take away from the four night stay. Our Vancouver friends, Tara and Vanessa, are visiting us in November! They were awesome. If you ever have the chance to hit the Greek Isles, it’s a must. So grateful my first Europe trip was to there…next up: Scotland! Saving up my energy to spend a lovely weekend with an old Alleghany friend. Can’t wait! In the meantime, the rain has officially set in and it is very chilly. It’s nice to bring out the sweaters and snuggle up with some coffee and a heater! Hellooooo Fall 🙂
