While in Berlin all students will take a German language course, offered through the Humboldt University. Students are placed into German courses based on a placement test. Classes are taught M-F mornings after which students may have afternoon class with Humboldt. In the afternoon students will meet two to three times a week with the program director to visit sites relating to Germany’s past and present, which may include sites relating to Nazi past as well as post War-division.
