American Writers in France traces the steps of some of America’s greatest poets and novelists who traveled to and lived in France for its rich artistic and cultural environment. Beginning with two weeks in Paris, we will visit the City of Lights’ most famous sites while developing an understanding of artistic and philosophical connections between the United States and France. With excursions to Normandy and Rouen and a week-stay in Toulouse, this program provides students with a chance to see a France outside of the Parisian metropolis. A final and exciting trip to Spain will conclude our fascinating travels.
